LEARN TO SWIM
GROUP SWIM LESSONS: $30 (ages 4 – 12) Learn-to-Swim program helps participants gain confidence in the water and learn proper swimming techniques. Children will be supervised by our trained swim instructors and lifeguards, so swimmers of all ages are in safe hands. Keep in mind that due to the nature of a group lesson, the time your child spends in the water is relative to the total number of children enrolled.

LEVEL 1: Introduction to Water Skills: In Level 1 participants begin to learn basic water skills and technique. Aimed towards children who have never been in the water by themselves, participants will work on becoming comfortable floating, going underwater, and developing coordination for the front and back crawl strokes.

LEVEL 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills: Participants build off skills taught in Level 1 by working on correct technique for front and back crawl in addition to building more confidence in the water. In this level we also introduce deep water skills such as treading water for short periods of time.

LEVEL 3: Advanced Aquatic Skills: In this level, participants are encouraged to build their endurance for front and back crawl. Breaststroke is introduced in this level, as well as continuing to develop treading endurance. Recovery strokes such as elementary backstroke and side stroke are introduced in this level.
